What better way to celebrate a hipster film version of Where the Wild Things Are than with a cool Kubrick figure? This Where the Wild Things Are Max 400 Percent Kubrick Figure won’t be available until December but it looks worth the wait. This figurine is somewhat unusual in that it’s 8 inches tall which is about four times the size of the usual Kubrick creations. This is nice mini-feature promotional film that was just released to promote Where the Wild Things Are. What I love about this video is that they really showcase Maurice Sendak here, I mean when was the last time you found the author of a book promoting the film? Also I know director Spike Jonze is going to have fun with the film given his previous track record — and I also think that Catherine Keener is one of the most underrated actors I know of: So i can’t wait to see this film!
