David Cage wants his game to be movies so badly that he’s debuting trailers for them at the Tribeca Film Festival. But with talent like Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, you’re getting pretty close to movie-level status anyway. We can argue about movies and games all day, but this trailer for Beyond: Two Souls still looks pretty good. It’s got some really impressive-looking visuals as well as some great framing. Hopefully this game will turn out better than Heavy Rain did – mainly because I would like to see a “cinematic” game like this work. Check out the new trailer below. Read more…

Yes, you heard right: Quantic Dream’s new game, BEYOND: Two Souls has Willem Dafoe playing one of the main characters, along with Ellen Paige. So that’s two big-name Hollywood stars “playing” leading roles here – I wonder if we’ll find out more before release? And speaking of release, the game will arrive on store shelves October 8th. I wonder how it will fare with the looming shadow of the PS4 that will (probably) arrive the following month? If you pre-order the game at Gamestop you’ll receive an extra 30-minute playable DLC scene. Who knows what that entails. Watch the new trailer below to see Dafoe in action! Read more…
