The Works: First Attempt at a CG Film
“The Works” was a pioneering 3-D computer animation project at the New York Institute of Technology in the early 80’s. It’s amazing to think that this was done well over a decade before Pixar hit the big screen with their animation. I also recall a bit later that there was also work done at the New York Institute of Technology on a sequal to the Beatles “Yellow Submarie” film that was suppose to be computer animated (but this didn’t happen as well).
