Entertaining Christmas Birthdays
The problem with being a Christmas baby is that your birthday is forever ignored: Although that can give some motivation to stand out in life and become a success. Here are just a few remarkable talents who have shared their birthdays with the day that everyone else is getting gifts:
Humphrey Bogart: Born on December 25, 1899 Bogey is one of my favorite actors 40s having starred in classics like The Maltese Falcon.
Lew Grade: He’s not a common household name, but if you’re a fanboy you’ll know him through a series he greenlighted at ITC called The Prisoner. He also played a role at ITC helping to make all those great Gerry Anderson shows possible like Thunderbirds and Space:1999. Lew was born on this day in 1906.
Rod Serling: Born on this day in 1924 Serling was the genius behind The Twilight Zone. In addition to that he also wrote the screenplay for the original Planet of the Apes film.
Annie Lennox: If you’re a geek there’s no way you can’t love the techno pop that Annie created with Dave Stewart back in the 80s. And Annie was born on this day in 1954.
Isaac Newton: While not an entertainment industry icon Sir Issac is near and dear to the heart of any self respecting geek, and he was born on this day in 1643.
