I covered the major details of Microsoft’s Xbox One reveal, but what does the internet think of it? Hardcore gamers are almost unanimous in their disapproval, but nothing provides commentary quite like the original presentation itself. No, I’m not going to link the full presentation, but two user-edited videos sums up the system Microsoft is trying to sell.
The first video is literally the presentation condensed to a minute and a half by YouTube user Darkbeatdk, featuring Microsoft’s own words. Not to spoil too much, but it pretty much boils down to “television,” “sports,” and “Call of Duty.” Woooo.
This second video is a bit longer, with VideoGamer abbreviating the presentation with its own commentary. It’s true what they speculate about that Call of Duty dog; it’s probably going to die horribly.
