Deus Ex: Human Revolution Sports Big Improvements On Wii U
The Wii U is hurting for games, and I’m not sure ports of previously released games is the way to fix things. Most of a port’s potential customers probably already bought it. That being said, Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut is looking to be the better version for those who waited.
Sure, it might not have achievements or trophies, but it includes all the DLC, plus new content. That new content won’t be released on other platforms, so it’s a Wii U exclusive. And naturally, the Wii U GamePad is being used for light inventory control, which is one of the best things to use a second screen for.
But the biggest improvement? It would have to be the updated boss fights. The original version’s boss fights were outsourced, so they didn’t fit in with the game’s theme of using whatever playstyle you wanted to use. That meant stealthy sneakers or charismatic diplomats were locked in a room with a beefy gun-toting murder machine and weren’t properly specced to fight him. Supposedly, now you’ll be able to take other actions that don’t make you feel like you screwed up your character!
