Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Announced, No One Shocked
If you’ve been on any site that reports on video games in the past week, you’ve probably heard about the leaked details of the next Assassin’s Creed game. While journalists can’t talk about their hands-on time with the game until Monday, Ubisoft officially confirmed the game today: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will release this year on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360. Chances are high that it will show up on the next Xbox and PS4 as well, but Ubisoft is remaining quiet about that for now. The new game looks very pirate-y, and you’ll be playing as Edward Kenway in 1715. I wonder how much pirate ship combat we’ll get? It certainly sounds like an interesting addition to the Creed franchise, but I can’t help but wonder how soon until people burn out on it.
