Cringe Worthy Kinect Star Wars Trailer
While watching this trailer for Kinect Star Wars, a few choice words came to mind, but if I had to choose one, I think I’d just ask why. Of course, I think it’s pretty obvious why LucasArts and Microsoft have done this. They’ve said it themselves — they’re appealing to the lowest common denominator. I can’t help but feel someone dropped the ball with this one. Kinect Star Wars seemed like such an promising concept when it was officially announced at last year’s E3. It was clear they had their work cut out for them, but this trailer makes me wonder if they simply gave up. I mean, a dance mode — really? If that’s not considered giving up, I’m not sure what is. Mind you, the game is intended for gamers age 13 and up, and I’m not sure I know any 13 year-olds who would want to be caught playing this.
