Aspirational Americana Alcohol Ads of the 80s

From the land of the free and the home of the bud comes these two Japanese adverts from the 80s. My guess is that the commercial above for Budweiser may have been slightly inspired by shows like Dallas from that era — while the below Coors ad features music by David Foster and Lee Ritenour:
P.S. Yeah I know what you’re already thinking: Who the hell are David and Lee? Well David isn’t American at all, he’s a Canadian musician, record producer and beer drinker. As for Captain Fingers (also known as Lee Ritenour) he was a major session player from that era.
